A Young Woman Engages In Heavy And Excessive Drinking And Receives Exceptional Help At An Alcohol Rehab Facility For Alcohol Withdrawals And Alcoholism Symptoms

Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite anxious lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking two or three wine coolers each night after she put her children to bed. After roughly five weeks of this drinking routine, she eventually realized that rather than helping her "loosen up" and "handle" her problems, drinking made her feel less rested when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more tense throughout the .

After reflecting on her situation for two or three weeks, Beth decided to "open up" about her problem drinking with her best friend. In fact, roughly twenty-five minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Christine, told her that she knew about a very knowledgeable and competent doctor at the local alcohol and drug treatment center. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got encouraged to call the rehabilitation center and make an appointment.

Eleven days later she finally got to meet the physician her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the doctor that ever since she and her ex-husband got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, psychologically, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the physician, she underscored the point that she really believed that her former husband and she waited long enough to know one another well enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, however, their relationship seemed to fall apart. Moreover, both Robert and she began to drink, and their abusive and careless drinking adversely impacted their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her irresponsible drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the more common symptoms of alcoholism and that the best solution for this state of affairs is alcohol treatment.

After spending four months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to see that the real origin of her tension and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her unpleasant feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became a person addicted to alcohol.

With these insights and with the meds her physician prescribed, she finally stopped drinking, she began to feel substantially less depressed, and she started making more time for social events with her friends and family. What is more, a few months after getting rehab from her physician, she even started to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just about eight months after she terminated her therapy, Beth had finally laid the harmful thoughts of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually"alive" and emotionally "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
